Edition, forms and uncertain references

This guide uses the Coffee Board’s December 2025 edition, checked against the live 100-page PDF on 26 September 2026. PDF page numbers include the front matter; printed scheme page 47 is PDF page 55. The text refers to prescribed applications, checklists, manuals, certificate templates and a group member annexure, but this PDF does not contain a complete fillable application/template pack. Obtain current forms from the Board or approved body. Several clause cross-references are inconsistent and 4.10.8 is incomplete. We identify uncertainty instead of silently creating rules.

How to read the requirements library

Level marks reproduce the applicability matrix, not an individual audit decision. A check means the row is listed for that level; conditions such as “where applicable,” holding size or processing activity still matter. A cross is not permission to ignore law. “Shall” is a requirement; “should” signals a recommendation in the wording. Major/minor grading is not supplied row-by-row in this matrix. Kannada explanations are editorial aids; the English source wording is available in each card. Ask an assessor about ambiguous applicability.
